Big Picture Class G I V E A W A Y
Did you know that 99% of professional photographers post-process their photos? Post-processing has dramatically changed over the years. Back in the non-digital age, post-processing meant taking a photo into the darkroom and adjusting exposure, color, contrast and more to get the best photo possible. In the digital world, post-processing means uploading your photos to a computer, opening them in a post-processing program and adjusting little sliders to get AMAZING results! Little changes can have the biggest impact!
One lucky commenter will recieve a seat to Elisha Snow's Post Processing Workshop.
4 week workshop
ABOUT THIS CLASS: You will learn how to upload any digital photo into Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom, and adjust it to get the perfect exposure, color, white balance and more. You’ll learn many post-processing tricks such as smoothing skin, swapping heads, getting the best black-and-white effect, adding texture, creating vignettes, preparing a photo for printing.

My kids for sure, they make great subjects. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteThis class sounds awesome, I mean really...what is a histogram and how does it make a picture look good? My favorite thing to shoot are leaves. New green leaves, leaves maturing, changing colors and falling...action shot!

ReplyDeleteHas to be my daughter. She is finally starting to say "cheese" or "take my picture, mama." At least I haven't scarred her yet :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great class. My favorite thing to shoot pictures of are my kids.
ReplyDeleteMy kids. Although every summer I end up with lots of photos of raspberries too.
ReplyDeleteI have a passion for inanimate objects. I know, I'm supposed to heart faces, but really, a beautiful, intriguing door or a perfectly lit flower or the white of a bell tower against the deep blue sky---that's what makes my heart go pitter-patter.
ReplyDeleteI like to take photos of things while we're out.
ReplyDeleteMy Boys. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to shoot is my nephews!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, my family! Love taking photos of them!

ReplyDeleteMy kids are definitely my favorite subject!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say my kids, but they are so squirmy right now ... so it's hard to get a good shot. Still, when I get a good one of them, it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have three beautiful children. They are by far my favorite things to "shoot."
ReplyDeleteAmy Crain

My children. But I also love inanimate options like the cake and favors at a wedding or footprints in the sand, etc
ReplyDeleteMy son has been in high school marching band and is now in a college band. I love to taking pics of the the band and its members to share especially when we're at away games.
ReplyDeleteMy family and my pets, although they all refuse to sit still for me. So I photograph flowers and plants -- amazing how they WILL sit still :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, the subject(s) that I shoot the most often are my children, but I have a weakness for photographing flowers (I also particularly enjoy playing with different postprocessing techniques on still life - you can really push the boudairies in ways that just don't work on landscapes or portraits :) )
ReplyDeleteMy three boys and my husband, and our extended family! And of course our pets!
ReplyDeleteMy two boys. Last night as I was going through piles and piles of photos of them, I realized how lucky I am to be their mom!

ReplyDeleteNatural expression is my favorite subject! At the zoo the other day I captured no less than 5 different animals "smiling.". Also my life takes me to the streets in Cambodia and the faces of the children that have so little to truly hope for make my camera click non-stop. Truly priceless faces.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love to shoot my kids (ha ha), I LOVE nature shots. We have a lovely pond behind our house and I'm forever trying to get good shots of flowers, plants, fish, rocks, cool dripping water.
