We have the kids do some sort of service each year
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday Tradition is decorating the Christmas tree as a family while listening to Holiday music. Love to relive the memories as we unpack each ornament.
ReplyDeleteI love baking different cookies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win!
My favorite holiday tradition is sitting around our tree each year as we decorate it and telling the story behind each ornament. We get a new ornament for every trip, major event, and to represent the year in general so that our tree is full of memories
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday tradition is going to see Christmas lights!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday Tradition is... one of the older family members dressing up like Santa to hand out the presents to all the kids... they get so excited that you can't help but be excited too (last year we even had a rudolph and some elves! :P)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is to make my Grandma's bon bons. My mom made them with my Grandma growing up, I made them with my mom growing up, + I'm excited to make them every year with my children as well. Merry Christmas! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is going out and cutting down our own Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday Tradition is that even though I am 23, and my youngest sibling is 20, my family still bakes cookies for Santa and leaves out carrot and celery sticks for the reindeer.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite holiday tradition is dancing to Christmas songs while decorating the tree, my 8 & 5 yo rate it higher than opening presents on Christmas morning!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday Tradition is...going to our local tree farm and hunting for at least an hour to find the perfect tree to cut down.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is our advent calendars, each year we make a different one and the kids love it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is snuggling by the fire with the kids and listening to Christmas music.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Holiday Tradition is...stockings.
ReplyDeleteI can't even tell you what a big deal stockings are in my family. Even though we're not really doing a Christmas get together this year, we're making sure to send stocking stuffers to everyone so that stockings are overflowing. Some of us have goofy traditions, and I'm still trying to "train" my other half to remember mine when my mom (aka Still Santa) isn't around to fill it.
I swiped the stockings we have used for at least 25 years. Mine finally needs some repairs, but we keep adding to the collection as we merge families.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree and remembering the special meaning behind several of the ornaments.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is the countdown! We have an advent banner--it's a tree with red velcro dots, and every day, you stick a felt ornament on the tree until it's all decorated. Then there is the countdown clock, the countdown house and of course, the advent wreath. :)

My favorite Holiday Tradition is taking the kids to pick out a new ornament. Every year sense I have been married we have got a new ornament and that carried over to when the kids were babies and I started collecting some for them, once they are old enough they get to pick out there own.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is on Christmas Eve when my boys and I make birthday cards for Jesus; we write a little message of what we are thankful for inside. We also bake (and decorate) birthday cupcakes for Him.
ReplyDeleteClaudia
My favorite holiday tradition is having our kids pick a name from the salvation army angel tree and watch them get excited about picking things out for other people.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is remembering the reason for the season! Jesus Christ!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is putting up our tree and remembering all the past years with our handmade ornamates.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is baking day, where our family gets together and spends the ENTIRE day baking cookies and fruitcakes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is trimming the tree. So many special ornaments bring back sweet memories of loved ones who are now gone.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is getting out the Pooh bear tree...it started when my oldest dd was born and she gets new ornaments every year..our girls love remembering each ornament and placing them in the perfect spot!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be baking and decorating cookies. Every family member has a different favorite so we make a lot of cookies.
ReplyDeleteWe do a live nativity with a donkey and sheep at our church. It's a MUST every December.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things to do at Christmas is to come up with a different theme to decorate our tree, and every year we always says - this is our favorite - A great bonding time with the family.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is going to our friends of 30 years for a dessert party.
ReplyDeleteTrimming the tree of course. Our daughter is only one so this year we put stuffed animal birds and no breakable ornaments that she can take off and put back on herself.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is actually opening the stockings. I love the look when my boys discover the little things in the stocking!
ReplyDeletethis would be so awesome to win!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is waking up at 3 am to have Christmas at my mom and dads. My dad and brother are both coalminers and they double and triple shifts on the holidays so we have to jump at the rare moments everyone can be there.
We spend christmas eve with neighbors, go to church together, then read twas vthe night b4 christmas. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is ornaments. We give each of our children (and now grandchildren) a new Hallmark ornament every year. They also receive one from my mother-in-law as well (and so do I - so my tree won't be bare when they're all gone!). Then when they grow up and have a tree of their own, they take all their ornaments with them (except for a couple of special ones that I keep on my tree for them). My kids are now 26, 24, 21, 19 and 15. So my tree is EXPLODING with ornamnets! (My oldest is the only one who has taken hers so far.)
ReplyDeleteOh, my favorite tradition is the food, and the baking, of course! We have a special Christmas Eve dinner and family "program" with singing, musical numbers on various instruments, and acting out the first Christmas. So fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is taking my kids down the street every night to see a computerized light show that one of my neighbors has each year. The lights are synchronized to music so the kids dance in the driveway.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is loading the kids and the dog into the car to drive around and look at Christmas lights on different houses.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is going to the cemetery where my infant son was buried with my daughter and grandson for the annual luminary service. After the service everyone is invited to stay and light the luminaries that line the road winding around the cemetery and that are placed at each and every grave. After it gets dark,it seems a hushed peace envelopes the whole place and the view is just breath taking.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is the quiet at night with the lights on the tree.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this counts, but every Thanksgiving we make homemade Christmas ornaments (different ones each year) between dinner and dessert. This year we did alcohol ink glass ornaments.
ReplyDeleteNew tradition we started last year - Along with a gift (or instead of one!) we include an envelope announcing a donation to a charity in honor of the recipient: Science Center for the college science major, orphanage in Nepal for the one who spent a month there one summer, etc. We all loved it!
