Project Life

Project, huh? If you are reading this post and haven't ever heard of Project Life (aka PL)... you are missing out!
Since February, PL, has become a new photo obsession here at Persnickety.
Read earlier posts here and here.

We continue to create & print 12x12 digital layouts, but have been mixing it up a bit! Project Life is simple and easy for anyone to use, and a great way to document life.
(get our 6x6 templates here, 6x12 coming soon!)

3x4 cards can be used for oh so many things - but Project Life is the focus today.
 (the kids love it too!)

Teacher Appreciation Week

It's Teacher Appreciation Week!
             
Do you see these three boys? --->

They are mine. I love them, but let's be honest; we should "appreciate" these wonderful teachers every day of the week, all year long! 

The older boys have Male Teachers.
Each Day of the week, students can bring a little note or treat to their teacher.... My boys will be doing both and then some!

I am assuming Mr. Olson & Mr. Leeper don't want a berry scented body lotion, or a bouquet of flowers... geesh, why must Men be so difficult?

So, I came up with gum... they might like gum?

I created little 3x4 notecards for them to sign and take to school for the next 3 days.

 Figured I would share the love and offer these notecards to you too!

Mojo

Have you ever lost it? Your creative passion, your zest, your mojo?

Your imagination simmers down, your mind goes blank and your creative senses are lost.
What do you do? How do you get it back?

This happens.
The creative process is different for everyone. It comes and it goes. For me, when it is lost, I have to step back, step away, and clear my mind.

I like to bike. I am not good, I am not fast, I just like it.

I use to enjoy running, but with a bike, I can cover so much more ground.
When the sun is shining, and I am outside breathing the fresh mountain air, the mojo starts to flow again and I can get back into the zone.
It's a beautiful thing!

"you get the picture"... fresh air, beautiful surroundings...  

Sometimes we fall.... but, what's important is that we get back up! 
(ha, had to throw those in there... old snowy pictures from last year)  

We all come from different paths, some we create, and some we have to cross.
At the end of the day, it's up to us to Enjoy the Ride.
